Getting started

Create your first bundle

A step-by-step walkthrough of the bundle editor: adding products, choosing a pricing method, previewing the discount, and publishing.

This guide walks through creating and publishing a bundle from start to finish. The whole process takes about five minutes.

Create the bundle

  1. From the Better Bundles dashboard, click Create bundle.
  2. Give the bundle a title and description — these appear on its product page in your storefront.
  3. Add product images in the Media section, or select images from the components you add.
  4. Under Products in this bundle, search your catalog and add two or more components. You can set a quantity for each.
Tip: Bundles with a clear anchor product (your bestseller) plus complementary items convert best. Start with your top seller and add natural companions.

Choose how the bundle is priced

In the Pricing section, pick one of four pricing methods:

  • Percentage off — take a percentage off the combined product prices.
  • Amount off — take a fixed dollar amount off the combined prices.
  • Fixed price — sell the bundle at an exact price you set.
  • Item-based (free items) — mark specific components as free; the bundle price is the sum of the paid items, with an optional extra discount on top.

The Price summary panel updates live as you configure, showing the combined component price, the discount, and the final bundle price — along with exactly how the discount is allocated to each component line.

Set the URL handle

Under Search engine listing you can customize the bundle's URL handle. Left blank, it's generated from the title. Since bundles are real products, they get indexed by search engines like any other product page.

Publish and test

  1. Click Save, then set the bundle status to Active.
  2. Open the bundle's product page on your storefront and add it to cart.
  3. Proceed to checkout and confirm the bundle expands into its components with the correct discounted pricing.
Note: If a bundle can't go live, the editor shows a checklist of exactly what to fix — for example a missing component or a price that exceeds the combined component total.
