Troubleshooting & FAQ

Solutions to common questions about bundle visibility, checkout pricing, inventory, and checkout functions.

The bundle isn't showing on my storefront

  1. Check the bundle status is Active (not Draft) in Better Bundles.
  2. Confirm the bundle product is published to your Online Store sales channel.
  3. Verify the bundle has available inventory — if a component is out of stock, the bundle shows as sold out.
  4. If you want it in a collection, add the bundle product to that collection like any other product (or use the default tags from Settings with an automated collection).

The discount isn't applying at checkout

Bundle pricing is handled by two checkout functions that were registered automatically at install. If prices look wrong in checkout:

  • Open Settings → Checkout functions and confirm both the Cart Transform and Discount function show as registered. Use Re-sync if either is missing.
  • Make sure the bundle was re-saved after its last edit — republishing pushes the latest configuration to checkout.
  • For order-level discounts, the full bundle must remain in the cart; removing a component line cancels the order discount by design.

Bundle availability looks wrong

  • Remember the reserve buffer: if stock allows 25 and the buffer is 5, Shopify lists 20. Check the bundle's Inventory section.
  • Check which locations the bundle counts — a location mismatch is the most common cause of unexpected numbers.
  • Run “Recalculate inventory” from the bundle editor or from the product page in Shopify admin after bulk imports.

Can customers buy more than one bundle at a time?

Yes. Bundles behave like normal products — customers can set any quantity, and the discount scales with it exactly.
